About The Pasta

Linguini
Linguini is an excellent option for delicate sauces and pairs well with pesto and seafood. It’s similar to fettuccini but thinner, lighter and elliptical in shape. Originating in Italy’s northwest region, it means “little tongues.”

Fusilli 
Fusilli’s corkscrew shape makes it perfect for holding rich and hearty sauces. It may seem similar to rotini, but the difference is in how it’s made, which creates a different feel. To make it, fresh spaghetti is wrapped around rods to dry. Its name is derived from this technique, as “fuso” means spindle in Italian.

Fettuccine 
A flat, thick pasta made with egg, fettuccine pairs well with creamy sauces like Alfredo and delicate proteins such as seafood. Fettuccine is Italian for “little ribbons” and is most commonly found in dishes from Rome and Tuscany.

Tortelloni
Tortelloni, which originated in northern Italy, is larger than tortellini and typically vegetarian. They’re hearty, stuffed pastas served in a variety of sauces. Traditionally, broth or a simple sage and butter sauce pair well with most tortelloni varieties.

Because our gluten-free pasta is freshly made, it cooks to a perfect al dente in only 2-3 minutes. Toss with your favorite sauce and enjoy!

Our fresh pasta can be refrigerated for up to 5 days after arrival or frozen for up to 12 months. When cooking from frozen, no need to thaw, just place directly in boiling water and stir to loosen.

Due to a global shortage of golden flaxseed, we recently began using brown flaxseed in our Four Cheese Tortelloni. Our pasta remains 100% gluten-free and has the same taste and texture you expect. The only difference is the slight color variation due to the brown flaxseed.

Keep Refrigerated

Cooking Instructions

Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. (We recommend 3 quarts of water per 9 oz. package of Taste Republic pasta.)
Gently loosen the pasta with your hands and carefully place the loosened pasta into the boiling water. 
Stir immediately to prevent the pasta from sticking together.
Cover and boil for 2-4 minutes or until preferred al dente texture.
Strain, immediately toss with desired sauce and serve.
NOTE: If your pasta is frozen, just place directly into the boiling water and stir to loosen the pasta. No need to thaw first.

Yummy Pasta!

All of these are very delicious and you can't tell a difference between this and traditional pasta! Our fave is the tortellini.

As good as non gluten-free pasta

I was surprised that these fettuccine keep their shape after cooking as usually gluten-free pasta always breaks and don’t look like regular one. My kids loved the taste too.

Excellent! Better than any other GF pastas

Tastes great, excellent texture, like fresh gluten pasta but without the pain. The tortellini are our favorite so far. Now that I've tried it with marinara, and know it holds together, I know I can use in Italian soup (but careful not to let it sit in broth too long of course). Have also tried the linguini, which was excellent, had as a side dish to crab cakes, with sliced garlic, parsley, and butter & olive oil. We ate every last speck, even the gluten eater in the house. Will definitely re-order.

Wonderful GF Pasta

We've tried several of the Taste Republic products and enjoy them all. Ready in three minutes, they're delicious and versatile. A marinara sauce is great, of course, with the linguine. The lasagna sheets worked perfectly, and the fusilli was terrific in a pasta salad. This is our new "go to" choice for gluten free pasta.
