Gluten Free Linguini Bolognese

Bolognese is a traditional Italian "ragù" that originated in Bologna. While there are lots of varying recipes for bolognese, most of them involve slow cooking a meat-based sauce with vegetables, wine, and tomatoes. This is our take, but feel free to experiment with adding different types of meat, celery and carrots, or even a splash of milk!

Ingredients

1 package Taste Republic Linguini
1 small onion, diced
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
2 handfuls of spinach, roughly chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
2 lbs grass fed ground beef
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 small tin tomato paste
Splash of red wine
Oregano, basil, salt, and pepper to taste

Directions

Heat oil in a large pan. Add onion and garlic. Cook until fragrant and softened.

Add beef and brown, then add spinach, herbs, salt, and pepper, stirring to mix well.

Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes. Stir well and add red wine.

Reduce heat and simmer. Meanwhile, cook and drain pasta according to package instructions. Plate pasta and spoon sauce on top. Enjoy!
